At The Slinky Fox we are passionate about pizza. We continually look to purchase only the finest ingredients for our dough and toppings. We have carried out trials on Italian flour and have found that Caputo Tipo ’00’ makes the finest pizza dough. We want to be able to deliver something different to our customers and have discovered that Doves Farm Organic Wholemeal flour provides a healthy alternative to our standard base. It is our goal to keep research and development alive and well so that the majority if not all of our dough and toppings are sourced as local as possible because sustainability is key in today’s changing environment.
We are always happy to accommodate our customers individual needs and will try to answer any questions relating to any of our ingredients. All of our pizza is hand stretched in front of our customers, so tailoring our pizza to your needs whether vegan or dairy free is not a problem. We can still create something mouth wateringly delicious whatever your specific needs are.
Gluten free pizza can be made at the request of our customers. The symptoms of coeliac disease varies from person to person so for that reason we leave it to our customers discretion. Even though our oven exceeds temperatures of 450 C we cannot guarantee that no cross contamination, however small will occur from our standard pizzas that have been freshly cooked in the same environment.
We believe that children should understand where food comes from, and in our case that's from field to fire. That is why we want to help parents and children to make the right eating choices. By understanding exactly what they choose to eat and how to give them confidence in producing and cooking delicious pizzas from scratch. We offer interactive family based pizza classes which provides the perfect opportunity for an interactive experience. We offer a bespoke menu for children so we can accommodate even the tiniest of taste buds.
